Reaching our property in Sant’Angelo d’Ischia is simple, but it’s helpful to know a couple of practical details: the village is pedestrian-only and protected from traffic, and that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful and special.

Your journey begins with your arrival on the island of Ischia. The island is connected daily to the mainland by ferries and hydrofoils departing from Naples (Molo Beverello and Porta di Massa) and Pozzuoli; in high season there are also routes from Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi, Positano and Salerno. We recommend taking the hydrofoil from Molo Beverello and getting off at the port of Forio, which is the closest port to Casa al Sole Boutique Hotel.

There are three main ports on the island: Ischia Porto (the largest), Casamicciola Terme, and Forio. On request, we can arrange a trusted pick-up from the port and bring you directly to Sant’Angelo. Taxis, public buses and rental vehicles are also available.

Sant’Angelo is a pedestrian area, closed to cars. If you are travelling by private taxi, ask to be dropped off at the golf cart meeting point at the pedestrian entrance of the village: from there we will send our electric cart to collect your luggage and bring it to the hotel, free of charge.

If you are arriving by car or motorbike, please note that vehicles are not allowed inside the village. You will need to leave your vehicle in an external parking area. We recommend booking a garage in advance: we can arrange this for you as well — just contact us by email or WhatsApp.
